The Final Dash before CNY!

The final dash before CNY arrives :)

New Year, lets usher in the year of the Tiger people!!!
I looked around so long, I believe I own the cutest Tiger around!
Aint he suave :)
We did a lot of clean ups...though I think we really plan well this year as we split up our jobs by the weeks.

And of cos...with FD out of marketing...and his less hectic flying schedule, he will be able to do more marketing for our own house...hahahaa

Quite happy that he is able to buy the oranges for our household this year :)
Cos for the last 2 years, its always aku....
And traditionally speaking, oranges represent $$ and it will be good for the breadwinner to buy them personally.....


And the pineapple which I told myself every year I will buy but did not...This year both of us went to the nursery and I told FD to pick one for himself.

Pineapple = Huang Li Huang Li (Chinese pronounce.) The breadwinner for the house will WANG WANG WANG!!!!!! YEAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

And I choose this too...aint she pretty....goshhhhhhhhhhhhh I am so attracted by her vibrant yellow!

And the intense gardening started while FD snoozed away ---....---

Spent at least an hr transplanting the plants and was squating all the way as I thought the whole process is going to be FAST...

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I was wrong as the pineapple roots was stubborn like crazy in its old pot!

And after doing the massive transplanting, the joints at my legs was aching like mad and perspiring like crazy too.....

What a great work out *eyes rolling*

And I was so proud of myself yesterday for sorting out many little crooks and crannies in my house...

Hahhahaaa...the thing I am proudest of it getting my stove sparkling clean again!! WAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHHA.....

When I got this stove 3 years ago, many visitors told me, I am going to regret it as it is silver and once dirt gets on it, its going to be really obvious...

True...though it gets really dirty FAST, but hey after a good wash...it becomes sparkling again...Just like I first saw it...except for the oxidise rings which I think its crazy to clean up unless I dont use the stove FOREVER...

And polishing up all my crockeries...WAH LAOOOO I can even see my own face with the pots now :)

No more spill grims ....

And after the whole session of cleaning and scrubbing, I just felt so satisfied la!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hahahahahahaaa

Ok ok...I know...I am obsessed in having a clean house...but at least not to the extend of sterilisation ok --..--

And this funny sight I saw last weekend in my ILs place...

This really boggled my mind when I saw this...

I mean......its so OUT OF THE WORLD!!!

Ok...at least I can say I am not the only one who has an alien for a neighbour.
I am imagining both aliens residing together...I wonder what will happen..

1 obsessed with ants powder, the other obsessed in having an ala~island concept.

I nearly burst out lauging when I saw this signage...cos it kind of reminded me of my childhood, when we were playing masak masak and we just wanted to create some imaginery territories...

Eccentric people...I believe there will be more to come especially when our island hits a higher level of globalisation...

And yes...the feast that all of us are looking forward that night.....

Love the crab meat balls...they are so crunchy and sweet at the same time..

I must study my intakes...enough of loveletters and bak kwa....God!! I have been eating them like nobody business lately.

A Pleasant Surprise

Taking cab every morning is my usual fare these 2 weeks.

Since FD refused to allow me to drive the car while he was serving the nation and taking the bus to work is a terrible affair, taking cab to work is the wisest option since my workplace is relatively near to my house.

A pleasant surprise this morning when I bumped into the same driver that drove me to work a few days ago.. :)

How about that....since he dont live near the area and we managed to bump into each other twice a week :)

I love taking his cab and conversing with him....

Its that kind of comfortable feeling when you bump into someone and you can express your views openly and without having the fear of offending someone.

Ok~ ~ Before anyone of you think that this chap is someone young, jive and handsome...you can erase the image from your mind and conjured up an old uncle instead. Yes...definitely older than my own dad.

My own dad...only knows how to shut me up when I am trying to express my views....I mean..really...I do not know how to carry out a conversation or discussion when I need to filter out certain portions and re-construct whatever I wana say "beautifully"...it will become tiresome...

Its really pleasant...this morning bumping into a familiar driver and yesterday bumping into another nice cabbie.

Took cab from my mum's place yesterday night and I met a nice cab whom actually purposely did a U-turn to pick me up after alighting his previous passenger.

Nice effort and he delivered this nice effort without being sacarstic or being negative....

Nice trip, nice cabbie.

In the end I told him to keep the change....some small tips for the trip.

Its FD's philosophy - to tip if its worthy. Though sometimes I find that the reason maybe because FD dont wish to keep the clangy coins in his pants :)

The ability to give is my mum's philosophy. It's a good thing as well as a blessing if you have the ability to give and share.

2 philosophies which at that point of time made me felt good.

Its true...when you give (or rather tip) to someone worthy. You actually feel good about it :)

And it ended real good when I ended my day with a good mask that I recently discovered...

Haha to the weird dreams~~ With such good things happening during the day, no wonder they did not return yesterday night :)

Same Old Dream

I believe its that particular season again.

The same old group of people will come...

Fragments of the past.

They infiltrated into my dreams and here we go again~

Though it had been years since I met these people, but we will always bump into each other in dreams

It had been years.

And even calling out these names in the dreams seem queer....webs in the mouth..

Their names come out unnaturally, weird and muffled.

And guess what, this time round, I even managed to ask each other what they are working as now....goshhh~

Wont it be creepy if one day I bump into any one of them on the street, and they are really practicing what I gathered from the dreams.

Creepy~

This series of dreams is the only rare few which comes with selected colour and even smell...

Haahahaaha~

Hmmmm~ I think I should document this series somewhere next time....then it will come out a collective DVD liao ...ahhahahaa
